Love studying those old beautiful instruments by Stradivari, Goffriller, Montagnana, Guarneri del Gesù etc. One can only be humbled, inspired and grateful experiencing those masterpieces in connection to the creation of music. Instruments, music and art keeps evolving.
Here the „Mara“ Stradivari Cello, Cremona 1711 of my teacher Heinrich Schiff in its original size.

I also loved playing the famous Dvorak Concerto duets with concertmaster Sasha Barantschik and his legendary 1742 „ex Heifetz“ Guarneri del Gesù violin.
Something I never want to miss here is visiting the Muir Woods National Monument. Hard to describe in words that kind of healing moments those gigantic trees are able to convey. They truly are a holy monument of nature and a reminder, how precious those ecosystems remain for all of us. 🌎
